The Mains

Click
Click is a very relaxed, easy going wolf. Somewhat silly and clumsy. Even though she is kind hearted, don’t mistake that for weakness, she is strong and brave and doesn’t take shit. She was born in a meadow under a big tree. Her mother was killed by a hunter and gave birth to her as she died. She was the last wolf in that region so Click never grew up seeing any wolves. The kind hearted shepherdess who owned those mountains took in the pup and raised her. She grew up helping her human mother herd and protect the sheep from wild animals, bears, boars and birds of prey. She was always a kind hearted wolf who adored nature. She found the spirits of the forests would call to her, wanting her protection. She would only eat what her mother gave her or scavenged. Many lambs would be raised by Click when their mothers would die from exposure or old age. After a few years, Click’s human mother died in their small hut at the bed of a mountain. Click was never really too sad because she could see her mothers spirit returning to the forests. After that, she took the herd for herself. Until one day a group of people came along and saw Click with the herd. They ended up shooting at Click, thinking she was hunting the herd. Unable to save her herd, the humans gathered them up and drove them away to be sold. Without a family, Click decided to leave the forest in search of a new destiny.  (HOPE THIS IS OKAY AND MAKES SENSE IN THE STORY XD)

Demon
Demon was found as an abandoned pup by a Newfoundland dog named Captain. She is taken in and raised by Captain and his band of local dogs, in a small town between a mountain range and a desert. Demon becomes like a second in command to Captain as they help the humans of the town with their work in exchange for food and shelter. One day, hunters pass through the town and start asking questions about wolves in the area. They offer a reward for any help locating wolves. Some townspeople want the money and begin to point out dogs as wolves. Captain overhears the humans' accusations and rushes to find Demon and protect her. He reveals to Demon that she is a wolf and a rare creature during this time. He commands her to escape to the desert and wait for him to come get her when it was safe again. The hunters discover that the townspeople tried to swindle them and kill all the dogs, then set the town on fire. Demon sees the smoke but follows her order and remains in the desert. She lives in an abandoned military vehicle and has two vulture neighbors. Demon understands dog behavior and language very well and is quick with her mouth and feet. She is friendly but guarded with new allies until they prove to be trustworthy. Once she fully accepts an ally, she is intensely loyal and supportive. Demon also enjoys cracking jokes and playing games. A great small game hunter but inexperienced with large game that wolves normally go for. She does not know about Paradise until the other wolves explain it to her. When it is time for the pack to move on, she decides to go with them because she knew Captain was not coming to get her, but had no reason before now to leave the desert. She joins the pack more for a new adventure and companionship rather than actually reaching Paradise.

Blacktail:
Age: 4
Human height: 5'6
Wolf height: Average
Build: Heavy
Special Talent: Strong vice like bite
Blacktail is shy at first, but very affectionate once she gets to know you.  Though she enjoys time to her self, she loves to be near her packmates.
When she was 2, Blacktail was separated from her family pack. Her pack was small, including her mother and brother, and other assorted members. With the world decaying, food was scarce and morale was low.  After being separated from her family, Blacktail made the pained decision to not try to find them, as she was another mouth to feed.  After wondering for some time, she runs into Rain.  Rain was protecting a scrap of food she had not yet eaten, and a starving Blacktail couldn't resist the temptation. While Rain rested, Blacktail sneaked up and bites into the carcass hoping to grab and dash. Rain, startled at the sudden intrusion, jumps up and latches onto to the other end of the meat.  The two were held in a grid lock for sometime, neither wanting to give up their meal and knowing that fighting would take more energy than the scrap would give back to them.  Rain is the first to call off the tug-o-war, saying she'll share the meal with Blacktail. Blacktail, still suspicious, keeps a firm hold on it while Rain takes  her portion.  After this truce, the two decide to team up and go catch something bigger.  They end up hunting and taking down a mountain goat that was inured by a fall. The two remained travel companions.

Name: Rain / Regn
Age : 4 1/2 (wolf) - 31 (human)
Wolf height: 3' 5"
Human Height: 6' 1"
Gender: Female

Bio:
Rain was found as a pup by the leader of a nomadic pagan tribe, Faron, during a hunt. He assumed she was a just a stray dog and took her with him to train, he dubbed her Regn in his native language since she was found on a rainy night. Unlike the other canines in the tribe, she stuck to Faron the majority of the time unless they were to make trips to the city where she would simply roam outside the area and wait.
Soon after, they came across an old man in a clock holding on to a book who was near starvation and was taken in by the group. Occasionally he would ramble or shout about alchemy, magic and even a place called Paradise, claiming them to be real but people around him believed him to be senile from the old age as these were merely fairytales. Though Rain had never done anything to him, he often looked frightened at the sight of her or scream if she ever got near him. A year later he passes away, the group keeping the old mans belongings.
At the age of 2, Rain is very close to Faron, viewing him as a father figure and is completely loyal to him. There were nights where he would speak to her as if he were talking to a person, talks about a legends closely related to Paradise and flowers. While moving to a different location, the tribe makes a stop at a city to trade and resupply while Rain goes off to the nearby forest to hunt while waiting for the tribe to return. An hour later gunshots are heard and Rain turns back only to find her tribe wiped out. Before Faron passes, he manages to catch a glimpse of Rains human form as she grieves for her 'father' and leader.
Realizing their attackers might still be nearby, she makes a run for it away from the area.
She travels around a lot keeping away as much as possible from the cities or encounters in general until runs into another wolf called BlackTail another year later.
Rain is usually quiet, indifferent and distant, often wary of others, especially humans but often gives the benefit of the doubt. The incident with her tribe has also left her with a lot of guilt. She is very protective and a skilled fighter, her abnormal size lacks in speed but makes up in strength. Never one to attack first unless given a reason to.

Delane
Age: 3
Height: 2.2 ft (at shoulders)
Build: lanky w/ deep chest (thick, wavy fur)
Special Talent: speed & coursing (chasing down prey, then grabbing it by the neck and holding it down)

Descended from a long line of wolf-hunting borzois, Delane’s parents found themselves without true purpose after the practice disappeared with the wolves’ “extinction.” Not content to simply lazing about the house of a high-ranking human, Delane explored around the estate and discovered that she enjoyed wandering around and would sometimes not come back for hours at a time.
During one such adventure, the city where she lived seemed to go crazy, and people attacked one another for food and supplies. Unsure and a bit afraid, she returned to her home, only to find it burned to the ground, apparently by looters whom wanted what her owners had inside.
She grieved for a while, and while she sat outside of the house’s gates, a child spotted her and gave her food. The child returned multiple times, and eventually, she left the ruins and followed the kid. The child’s parents wouldn’t let them bring Delane inside and didn’t like the child feeding her, but when they tried to shoo her away, she would only skirt out of their reach and return once only the child remained.
If any threats came to the child, she would protect them, but when the chid showed up less and less and seemed weaker every time she saw them, she figured out that she couldn’t protect them from everything. Eventually, the child stopped showing up all together, and though she waited for them, they never came back. She had to move on after a while, as the city seemed to go on and off in chaos, and when she’d finally made her way in another city, not too far from her original home, she was surprised to find another child…

Loves chasing things, and though enjoys exploring, can be quite a couch potato if not motivated enough. Can be stubborn, impatient, and can get bored easily and irritated with “pointless” tasks. Doesn’t respond well to harsh treatment, whether physical or verbal.
